Sovryn Website Receives Design Award Shout Out

We’re proud to share the news that our website was nominated and has received an Honorable Mention in the highly-respected Awwwards design competition. Awwward recognizes outstanding achievement in design, and the nomination is a testament to Sovryn's commitment to excellence in user experience, on all touch points along the user journey of the Sovryn brand. This recognition validates the efforts of the team in launching the new brand and website. The new website was built in conjunction with Pattern.

From its seamless user experience to its cutting-edge graphics, the new website truly stands out in the Bitcoin DeFi space. Our new aesthetic is capturing the attention of open-minded Bitcoiners looking for a fresh perspective on DeFi.

The new style is inspired by ‘propaganda of the future’ combined with the Solarpunk aesthetic.

Color

• Vibrant colors were used to build up a sense of energy and movement, to evoke the optimism of a better future. Also, orange emphasizes the connection with Bitcoin.

Typography

• The typefaces have been chosen for their flexibility. One of them is uncompromisingly bold and fearless with its tall form. Another one is a simplistic, wide typeface.
• A mixture of tall and wide typography, often used in association with great, fearless social movements to evoke strength and progression has been used in the design.

Imagery

• To show movement and progression, evocative imagery has been used, mixed with vibrant colors and bold time.
• To create the images that instill a sense of a better world, we chose a cutting edge technology - AI image generating tools. With these images we can show how “our better world” looks, and demonstrate growth towards something greater. Using provocative imagery with strong messaging allows us to do this, focusing on the benefits of a Sovryn world.
