The Sovryn community is a global network of thinkers and builders. We’re a borderless community of like-minded individuals, bound together by a shared long-term vision. As a community, we encourage open, transparent debate so that decisions on the direction of the protocol can be made as a collective.

There are a variety of ways to join and engage with the community. You can follow the journey on Twitter, chat live with Sovryns on Discord, have your say on the forum, chat on Telegram, or sign up for our newsletter here on the website.

You don’t need to join the community to use Sovryn. But if you love using Sovryn and have decided you want to get more involved and get to know people, simply reach out and introduce yourself on any of our channels, say “hello” on one of our live community calls, come along to an in-person meetup, or reach out to any of us individually. We’re a welcoming bunch.

To be able to vote in Sovryn Bitocracy, you need to stake SOV, the governance token of the Sovryn protocol. Simply holding SOV does not grant governance rights. Voting rights are weighted based on the amount of SOV staked and the staking duration. Staking SOV also allows you to earn a share of the fee revenue generated by the protocol as passive income. Staking rewards are proportional to your share of the total voting power.
