Welcome to the latest installment of the Sovryn release notes. We’ve got exciting news to share with you in this short but very sweet release update. Let’s jump straight in!
2022 was a tough year in many ways. But, rather than merely survive, we continued to build, improve, and grow. Zero in particular saw consistent, organic growth through 2022 and into 2023.
You may already be familiar with our recent Design Preview Series for the new Sovryn web app. In part one, we looked at how to get started on the new dapp. In part two, we took you through the process of opening and managing a line of credit. And in part three, we looked at the Zero stability pool and presented the first user-friendly Mynt frontend.
We’re delighted to announce the public testnet release of the new Sovryn web app!
This has certainly been a collective effort, but an extra special kudos goes to the mighty product and development teams working tirelessly at Sovryn.
The first public testnet release of the new web app will have a clear focus on Zero and the Sovryn Dollar (DLLR), and will include the ability to:
Please note, however, that the mainnet URL (live.sovryn.app) will redirect to (alpha.sovryn.app) to signal preparation for the mainnet launch of the new web app.
Interested developers and security researchers can also find the new Mynt and Zero smart contract addresses in the “Verified” tab of the testnet contract addresses spreadsheet.
Please also note that the main purpose of this initial testnet release is to test the smart contracts and other infrastructure, and not every part of the frontend will work flawlessly right away. We will continue improving the frontend in the coming days and weeks as we get closer to the mainnet launch. As always, we welcome any feedback or suggestions you have that could help shape future iterations.
Stay Sovryn!
